CompTIA conducted two surveys: one of IT pros with support responsibilities and one of end users. In the first survey, of 100 IT professionals at SMBs (with an average organization size of 65 users), respondents reported on average during the past 12 months:
• 7.3 spyware incidents
• 11 incidents per 100 users
